  • Each conductor exhibits a cross-section area of 2.96 mm², equalling AWG 12.5.

  • Covering the two conductors you find an extra Linear Structured Carbon ® saturated layer to improve the sonic performance and to transform the radiated magnetic field into an audio-signal again.

  • The resistance per lead is: 0.58 Ohm/100 meter.

  • The capacitance between the 2 leads is: 32 pF/meter.

  • The cable jacket is made of our HULLIFLEX ® 3, a very flexible and mechanically superb insulation material.

  • The insulation of the plus and minus leads is different in shape with printing in the flat middle section. Both properties are easy polarity finders. Type printing on every 25 cm. (10″) makes cutting of specified lengths very easy.

  • This cable is available in a very attractive matt cream color.

  • With the design of The CLEARWATER, it was our intention to produce the best match between quality and price.

    The decision was taken to work with 2 groups of strands with a conductor size of AWG 14; this because in many situations the distance between the amplifier and the loudspeakers is limited.
     

  • Therefore a twin-lead construction was made with 2 x 98 strands of a dense very pure silver coated Matched Crystal (MC) OFC.

  • The two conductor groups are twisted in opposite directions.

  • The resistance of each lead is: 0.9 Ohm/100 meter.

  • The capacitance between the two conductors is: 17.5 pF/meter.

  • Sonically this cable is a great product with a very balanced overall quality. There is no harshness and the spatial reproduction is superior.

  • Just as its name says: “The sound is as clear as water”

  • The cable’s jacket is made of transparent HULLIFLEX ® 3, a robust halogen free material excellently capable of shielding the copper conductors from the chemically threatening outside world.
    The jacket on each lead is different in shape and the flat middle section in between has a printing on one side: both properties are easy polarity finders. Type printing at 25 cm. (10″) distanc    e makes cutting of specified lengths very easy.

  • The SKYLINE HYBRID is the only Hybrid cable in this range:
    Each lead combines 19 high purity Oxygen Free Copper strands with a coating containing our Linear Structured Carbon ®;
    This combination of metal and carbon (hybrid technology) has excellent properties when it comes to resolution and neutrality, and therefore is standard applied in all of our heavier loudspeaker cables.

  • The SKYLINE HYBRID has been designed to be less flexible than its above mentioned colleagues, reflecting its aim to be used in more permanent high quality loudspeaker wiring applications.

  • The SKYLINE HYBRID is 8.5 mm. wide and 3.4 mm. thick.
    Each of its two 2.04 mm² conductors exhibit a resistance of 0.84 Ohm/100 m.

  • The cable’s jacket is made of sky-blue coloured HULLIFLEX ® 3, a robust halogen free material excellently capable of shielding the copper conductors from the chemically threatening outside world.
    The cable’s sky-blue color quite accurately represents its sonic character: as clear as a cloudless blue sky.

  • The TWIN is an entry level twin-lead AWG 16 loudspeaker cable with a good sonic quality despite its friendly price.
    Originally designed for install purposes, due to high demand The TWIN is now also available for consumer applications.

  • Description

  • In consumer applications The TWIN for instance is perfectly suited to upgrade the low-grade speaker wiring of mini-sets, external computer speakers and other low to mid-priced Hi-Fi systems where it yields noticeable sound improvements.

  • The Twin features high mechanical flexibility and is made of quality materials:
    The Twin’s multistrand high purity Oxygen Free Copper (OFC) conductors provide clear and accurate signal transfer from low bass to high treble and its environmentally friendly, halogen free, HULLIFLEX ® 4 jacket provides excellent protection against external mechanical and chemical influences, thus ensuring a very long life.

  • The TWIN’s two conductors furthermore have different insulator shapes: one is round and the other has two edges with type printing on the flat surface: the most simple polarity finder you can think of.

  • Versatile and easy-to-assemble DIY gold plated connectors. They offer high quality contact over long periods of intensive use and are very effective in keeping oxidation away.

  • 24 carat gold plated, screw-on, solderless connectors

  • Available in packs of four angled spades (fork) or banana plugs with red or blue rings for polarity identification

  • Only suitable for multi-strand loudspeaker cable and wire types. Minimum values: AWG 12 (Ø2 mm), for the bare conductor, and Ø 6.5 mm for jacket diameter

  • The banana and the angled fork spade screw-on terminals are WBT binding post fitting. Both offer excellent mating properties and minimal contact resistance.

  • The high pressure clamping ensures low loss electrical connection and maximum signal transfer

  • Banana terminal (standard Ø4 mm pin)

  • Angled fork spade terminal fits studs from Ø 6.0 mm to Ø 8.5 mm.

  • Easy assembly instructions (4 steps):

  • Strip off 14mm of the multi-strand cable/wire jacket

  • Insert the stripped end through the screw-on collar

  • Fan out the strands and evenly fold them encircling the collar

  • Insert the banana pin/spade blade and screw-on to the collar

  • Nakamichi Speaker cable connectors are designed to offer exceptional, yet affordable performance by ensuring 'optimal contacts' to both your amplifier and speakers.
